Captivating audiences all over Western Australia, Perth’s most unique duo, Trouvaille, truly are a lucky find. The stars aligned in 2012 when the unusual pairing of these talented teens took place in a 6 piece cover band. Over the following decade, Paige Savill & Adam Rossetti’s friendship blossomed, and the pair have been a sonic reckoning since.
Paige & Adam’s combined 20 years of experience together stretches far beyond what you see today, having collectively worked in over a dozen diverse, award-winning acts. Both began performing at a very young age, with Paige later sweeping up solo awards at Eisteddfods for her vocal and showman flair, and Adam pursuing degrees in recording and sound engineering. Together they also created, wrote for and performed in their original synth-pop act, I Call Val, who shared line-ups alongside global touring acts and in 2018 were nominated for two WAM (West Australian Music) Awards for “Most Popular Live Act” & “Most Popular New Act”.
These grass roots and love for all things music have not only driven this tenacious twosome to expand on their own abilities and expertise, but to share it with the youth of our local community. Adam has taught guitar and assisted budding bands onstage at the WestEnd Music Academy(the same school he first attended parallel to Paige), while Paige has mentored young female, trans and non-binary musicians since 2018at GirlsRock! WA camps.
The culmination of these endeavours and collaborations with other artists lend their symphony of uncommon fusions to Trouvaille’s overall sound and presence. Having played over 1000 live shows locally and regionally, with years of studio &song-writing experience, these two sought after musicians have taken their big sound and flourished into the rich performance piece that accompanies a broad range of weddings, private/corporate functions, and local pubs today. Their immersive knowledge on entertainment, content creation, recording and live sound engineering are key attributes in this acts attention to detail and personalisation of each show.
They’re not your typical acoustic duo, though the familiarity and nostalgia that accompanies their broad catalogue of popular hits from the 60’s to now, is the welcoming ambiance that ever so wholly balances the cacophony of sonic textures you simply won’t hear anywhere else.
